Ms Mel Hoskins

 

Room Two is Year level 3-5.

Mel Hoskins is the classroom teacher in Room 2. She has 20 years teaching experience of a range of levels both in NZ and the UK. 
She is passionate about motivating people to thrive and believe in themselves as learners.
She is a strong believer in making connections, building relationships and developing  an emotional intelligence. 
Her teaching style allows students to develop a life long love of learning, think for themselves, create and imagine and  improve their skills, knowledge and understanding in both Literacy and Numeracy.

Outside of school Mel enjoys spending time with her boys and extended family and friends, especially watching her family race cars. She enjoys classic cars and is the proud owner of a 1970 Falcon 500 XW.
