ABOUT KIMBOLTON SCHOOL

Situated in the heart of the Manawatu, New Zealand, Kimbolton rests on the edge of the Oroua river valley overlooking the Ruahine Ranges.  We are 15 minutes drive from Feilding.  We have four classrooms, a separate library and multifunction room and a heated undercover swimming pool.  Our school was founded in 1889 and remains a strong presence in the local community.

I am extremely proud to be the Principal of Kimbolton School. We have a supportive community and are also fortunate to have a strong and professional staff working extremely hard to ensure that our students have strong learning opportunities available.

We want all students to reach their potential and become active and enthusiastic contributors. Education has changed so much in the past 20 years since many of us were at school. Not only are there obvious changes in environment and technology but also in what we know about how students learn and the best ways to make a difference for all learners. Fundamentally though, our role has not changed and we are proud of what we do for our students as we prepare them for the fast paced modern world we live in. Our success is in the partnership we have with the parents.

In 2020 we received our  3rd Enviroschools Green-Gold Award. Only four schools in the wider Horizons Region have achieved a Green-Gold Award, and we are exceptionally proud to have now received it 3 times.

We want to work with you and hope you feel welcome to call in and discuss learning and issues that may arise. The more we know, the better we can do our job. We look forward to providing your child with the skills, attitudes and knowledge that they require for the world they are living in.
